There’s a handful of influences that lead me into photography as a career. Nightlife photography is one of the bigger factors. I started taking photos back in the day at parties during college. Not long after that, it become a way for me to get into the bars and clubs to hangout with my older friends. Many of whom worked in nightlife.
My style of nightlife photography is largely derived from my background in photo documentary. I’m always trying to capture the life of the party, but I’m also looking for the smaller moments that happen around the fun. It could be a a smile on a guest’s face, something funny, something weird or strange. I’m looking for the moments that most people might miss. For me that’s what keeps this interesting night after night.
A special thanks to the guests and staff at Whiskey on Water in Worcester. I couldn’t have done it without you!
