Building Pathways Out of Poverty (Video)

In July and August I traveled with a group of volunteers and nurses who set out to help members of the indigenous population of Guatemalans, descendants of the Mayans, living in the region around Lake Atitlan. I created this video to document their work inside of schools and medical clinics.

I work in video production and produce different stories every week. Working with Worthy Village on this project was unlike anything I have worked on before. This is why I wanted to become a photojournalist. I want to use my images to raise awareness and bring change to issues that would otherwise go unnoticed.
