Patty + John, June 6, 2015, Manchester, NH

Patty and I were friends in college so I’ve known her for several years. I was excited we she first asked me to photograph her wedding. Patty and John came out to Worcester to meet with Katherine and me for dinner and drinks, we had a great time! Katherine and I both enjoy being able to hang out with and get to know a couple before we photograph their wedding. It allows us to form a personal connection with them so that when their big day comes, we can capture their true personalities in their photos.

After looking over the menu at The Fix (which John was more than excited about, especially the option of having a foie gras-topped burger), we asked the Million Dollar Question: How did you two meet? The answer? They met through playing video games; the story is pretty awesome and definitely one like we’ve never heard before. Once we had beered and dined them in Worcester, we knew that Patty and John were a super fun couple, and their wedding would be just as fun to shoot as they are to be with.

Enjoy!
